Metroid wins POTY 2009!




Metroid won this year's POTY award at Ticalc.org!

2009 was a good year with many more featured programs than the previous years. Lets hope this continues in 2010 ;-)


Also, a new levelset for Super Mario 68k is available!

This levelset made by Andreas Schönfeld and it's called Heaven or Hell.

Two new Mario levelsets are available!




Two new levelsets for Super Mario 68K can now be downloaded from here!

One of the levelsets is made by me, and contains 14 brand new levels

The other one is made by Andreas Schönfeld and has two worlds with 17 challenging levels!

This levelset is yet the first 3rd party levelset to be released for Super Mario 68K.

Metroid and Mario Level Editor updated




An updated version of metroid is now available.
Once again some bugs that appears on Voyage 200 and Ti-92+ has been fixed.
Those are graphical bugs only.
Also, a map bug has been corrected.

A bug has also been fixed in the Super Mario 68K Level Editor.
This is a bug that under some rare conditions corrupts the level file

Metroid updated




A small update to metroid has now been uploaded.
This update fixes a bunch of bugs. Some of those bugs seems to only happend on Voyage-200
calculators. (Stat screen not working, Teacher key "loop")

Also, the controls when ducking has been improved.

Metroid has been released!



Finally... the day has come!

Metroid 68K version 1.00 has been released!

Game description:
Metroid 68K is a brand new metroid game for your calculator.
It runs on all 68K calcs, that is Ti-89, Ti-89 Titanium, Ti-92+ and Voyage 200.
The game has beautiful grayscale graphics with lots on animations.

The game takes place on the planet Zebes. Your mission is to hunt down
and destroy the almighty Mother Brain to establish peace in space.
You will meet a ton of different monsters on your journey to the inner of planet Zebes.
6 different metroid kinds resides on the planet.

Plenty of different power-ups will aid you on your mission. Some of them are the Spider ball,
Spring ball, Varia Suit, Space jump ability, many weapon upgrades and even more.

With it's huge maps to explore Metroid 68K will keep you entertained for a long time!
And don't worry, you can save your game at any time ;-)

The keypad settings and game speed can be altered during gameplay.

More progress on Metroid!

After a break during the summer, i'm now adding new stuff to Metroid.

One of the new features i've recently added is the animated title screen:



The Starfield animation is a slightly modified version of the starfield demo made by TICT.

Also, i've now implemented configureable key controls and adjustable game speed!

Right now i'm about to start working on the last area, Area 8, of the game.
That includes the powerfull Mother Brain!

All in all, this game is now nearing completion, and i expect to release the finished game in a few months ;-)

New Metroid demo released!

Today is the day to release a new Demo of Metroid!

This demo has more than doubled the areas you can explore.

Area 1-4 out of 8 are now available in the game, and you will meet several new kinds of new monsters on your way.

Some new metroid types are also present, a total of 3 types at the moment.



Many new power-ups, such as the spring ball, Varia suit, Wave beam and High jump boots

Are hidden throughout the new areas.

An important improvement over the previous demo is the save game:

Now you have 3 save slots and you can save your game at any point!

Also, a minimap is now accessable throughout the game, so you'll not get lost that easily ;-)

Today i uploaded the first public demo of Metroid.

Some weapon upgrades and powerups are present to aid you while hunting for the Metroids!

New Version of Egypt!

I've just uploaded a new version of Egypt.

This version fixes a few bugs.

Also a german translation of the game and the readme is included, thanks to Boscop.

The game also has a teacher key now. You can simply press the "2nd"-button, ant the calc will turn off.

Then press the "on"-key and the game will resume.

Egypt Beta 1 is out!

Today i am releasing the first beta version of my game egypt.

The game now runs on all 68K calcs (Ti-89, Ti-89 Titanium, Ti-92+ and Voyage 200).

There are 16 levels with a total of 96 puzzles in the game.

Your progress is automaticly saved and archived during the game.

Some changes to the project pages, and a new Game project!

Some time ago i started making a new game called Egypt. It's a puzzle game, originally for the old NES/Famicom.

Now I am doing a remake for the Ti-68k calculators. You can read more about it on the dedicated project page Here and in the Forum

Also, i modified the main page (this page) to what it looks like now, soem kind of front page for my projects.

A new version of the game and the editor is now available.

For the game this is mainly a bugfix update.

For the editor this version fixes a bunch of bugs.
Also, some new features are added, such as built-in help by pressing a key,
"Pick-a-tile" tool and adding a speed-up key when setting level borders.

The level editor turorial has been updated. It now consists of one file instead of two,
thanks to tifreak8x. Also, the file is a little bit smaller.
Some new sections are also added to the tutorial.

I have now added a section for custom levels to the site.

This version fixes a bunch of bugs.

Super Mario 68K wins POTY!

New updates to the game and editor.

Happy new year everybody!
Super Mario 68K won the POTY 2007 award held by Ticalc.org !

Also, a new version of the game is now available in the downloads page.
New in this version is:

-Configureable keys
-Added a confirmation check when overwriting saved games ;-)


A new beta of the editor is also out.
This has some more functionality like ability to insert/delete rows and colomns
in the level, so it is a bit more flexible now.
Also, several bugs have been fixed.

Level editor available!

The first beta of the Super Mario 68K Level editor has been released!
With the editor you can create brand new maps and levels for the game.
Currently, most features in the game are now supported by the editor, but some are still missing.
Those will come in the future ;-)

Also, the game itself is updated. I have now released version 1.02, which is mostly a bugfix update.
Also, the code size has been reduced (thanks to Ranman who led me into the idea of trying to tweak the compiler options a bit.)

A short summary of the features of the game:

Super Mario 68K is a grayscale Super Mario game for your calc.

The game are highly animated with beautiful graphics and smooth scrolling backgrounds.

There's a LOT of different kinds of monsters, ranging from the classic goombas and turtles, ghosts and hammer bros, and even Bowser! and many, many more.

Also, 3 different kinds of bosses are present.

There are many kind of powerup's to aid you in your quest, like the Mushrom, Fire Flower, Extra Lives, the Racoon Suit and many more. Did i mention that you can even fly in this game?

The game also has an overworld map for each of the 8 worlds with features like mushrom houses, two different mini games, airships, boats, castles and much more!

There is a lot of secrets and hidden areas in the game, so there will always be new places to explore! A warp zone is also included!

With 3 save slots you can save your progress, and continue from the same spot later.

More than 70 exiting levels through 8 worlds will give you many hours of game play. And with the upcoming level editor you can even make your own worlds and levels!

Finally, a new news item! Super Mario 68K is now getting closer and closer to the final release, and today it entered beta testing!

All 8 worlds are now finished, with all the planned features. Most bugs are now gone, but there are still some to remove..

A week ago i uploaded a couple of animated screenshots. Check them out in the screenshots section!
I also updated the game information page today.

If you want to help out with beta testing, or just want to leave a comment, join us at the forum!

I hope to get the game released within a couple of months, so stay tuned ;-)

Hi folks!

I know there has been a long time with no updates on the web page.
Shame on me ;-)

Well, there has been a lot of progress on the game since last update, and now i'm releasing a new DEMO :-D

This demo need to be stored in the folder "main" on your calc, and it will run on TI-89, currently.
Those thingas will change in the future ;-)

In this demo you will be able to play through world 1, 2 and 3!

You will meet new kinds of challenges, new enemies, and if you're lucky you can win a price or two in the game house!

Mario have been taking swimming lessions now, and he really enjoy playing in the water ;-)

But, be aware, last week he got bit by an angry piraya!

Anyways, that was before he found a big treasure left behind by some ancient pirates ;-)

New Demo out now!!! Try it! :-)



This demo has a lot of new stuff since the previous one:

The most important change is the world map. World 1 and 2 is included ant both features a map with mushromhouses and some other goodies:-)

-There are two kinds of bosses in the game.

-Also, theree is monsters walking around on the map. You can engage them, and if you beat a monster you win an item.

-added an indicator to show when you can fly. Also improved the game controls a little bit.

-Added some new levels,especialy in world 2

-And a lot more that i dont memorize at the moment
