.:DOA: Dead On Arrival

Dead On Arrival started out as a little side project to test out some ideas I had thought up, and some skills I had aquired while creating Doom89. I didn't expect it to go anywhere at first, because I had only a vague Idea of what the plot might be, plus I hadn't decided on what theme the game was going to settle in on. What I ended up doing was giving up on trying to stick to one theme, and that opened up a whole lot of doors. Basically what Dead On Arrival is, is a combination of all of the thoughts, ideas, themes and functionality that I have gleaned from playing my favorite video games and am able to actually pull off on this limited platform. DOA is a first person shooter game set in the not so distant future, the exact date isn't given because it isn't actually known. The story begins as you, the player, are being briefed for a mission to investigate the whereabouts of weapons going missing from a stockpile in the Titan Alpha base, on Saturn's moon Titan. From there the story takes some twists and turns, and not all is revealed to you early on. Most of the crew gets killed when some defense robots go berzerk, and from here on out it's up to you to unravel the mystery and escape Titan Alpha Base with your life. Good luck.
